Is the only way to truly add more lump charcoal during a burn/cooking session to take food items off, remove the grate and/or plate setter? If that's the case, it is definitely advisable to have all the charcoal you need to begin with, no?

Hello, I did some searching for you (I was kind of interested in a substitute as wel), and read a lot of things about oil. But I also read this; Butter is a completely natural food essential to your health - especially when you eat organic. Also, please make the extra effort to obtain high-quality organic, raw butter.
Not only this is said about butter, but also a whole lot of other things. I can't provide the link on youtube :( Just search for it on google if you want.
Thanks for such stuff and that article link. SO, I would get more safe tips for cooking.

Thanks

I agree with Bob above in regards to The Rendezvous. If you don't like your first slab, send 'em back. Ask for them Hot and Crispy and they'll come right off the pit. Also ask for the Kettle Juice if you don't necessarily like the dry aspect. Dry merely means that they are not slathered in some thick sugary Q sauce. Coming off the pit Hot and Crispy allows for a nice bark and a meat resistance which will leave you gnawing on the bone. Not at all like Cafeteria Ribs which slide off the bone in a disgusting fashion.
Great Blog and come see me at Memphis in May at the Barbecue Republic Booth.
